Gentle basics yoga is a great place to begin yoga. Increase your flexibility and learn how to let go of the stress and tension that creates irritation in the body/mind. Combines gentle supported restorative postures with basic Hatha Yoga standing postures. Modifications to meet your needs, as well as mindful breath awareness practice during class. Beginners but also perfect for continuing students. Everyone is Welcome!
The mood of the studio changes when the lights go out and the candles are lit. Treat yourself to a lovely evening vinyasa. Flowing pose sequences will invigorate and challenge while restful restorative poses will ease you into the evening hours. Moderate/ALL LEVELS
For students who are new to yoga or those looking for a gentler class. Learn breath and body awareness, optimal posture and body mechanics with focus on the correct positioning of basic yoga poses. Students will develop strength in the lower back, abdominal muscles, legs and upper body. They will also experience the meditative benefits of yoga through the linking of breath and movement. This class promotes balance, flexibility and stress reduction.
This class is open to all levels and due to the moderate pacing is appropriate for healthy beginners too (those without serious injury). It combines fundamentals from Basics with Sun Salutations to relax the mind by mindfully flowing from one pose to the next linked with breath.
